The December 1, 2022 edition of the Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza carried a legal notice from the Regional Court for Central Łódź [Sąd Rejonowy dla Łodzi-Śródmieścia], Third Civil Division, on behalf of the State Treasury as represented by the Mayor of Łódź, indicating the Court’s intention to declare the following individual deceased. This is presumably part of a procedure in which the city will take possession of her unclaimed property.
Paulina (née WILCZYŃSKA) BEKERMAN, daughter of Ludwik Lajb & Sura (née KORNGOLD), born in Łódźon April 29/May 11, 1889, last known residence in Łódź.
Any heirs to this individual or anyone with knowledge of potential heirs are asked to contact the Court directly within three months of the publication of the notice. In contacting the Court, reference should be made to Docket No. III Ns 330/22.
