Yizkor Book Report for February 2023 #yizkorbooks #JewishGenUpdates
lackerfeld@...
Shalom,
Even though February is a very short month, I am pleased to let you know that we still managed to maintain a high level activity during it. The “secret” behind this continuous activity is that we are very fortunate to have many diligent volunteers who coordinate the translation of the Yizkor books and who work with both professional and volunteer translators to prepare new translations. As the new translations are received, we are able to add them into our online projects and allow me to regularly report about this progress. From time to time, we are also able to reach a stage wherein we completely upload the translation of a whole book and hence, report such milestone events to you.
Still, as I often note, being able to make progress in these projects and engage professional translators is reliant on your financial support and I invite you to take a peek at the Yizkor Book Translation Funds we have set up. Perhaps, you will be able to make a donation to a project that is meaningful to you, which will help us continue to make progress with its translation.
Finally, in the past month, we were made aware that the Felshtin Society has published the complete translation of the Felshtin Yizkor book and for people with connection to this community, you will find purchase details available here Hvardis'ke, Ukraine.
